Crisis Communications
Network Europe

The Crisis Communications Network is an association of European and owner-ruled PR agencies with a profound expertise in crisis prevention and crisis communication. As owner-ruled agencies we can act very flexible and are able to react immediately on our clients’ needs. We have a deep understanding for the challenges midsized companies must deal with.

Our clients benefit from a vivid network. The representatives of all member agencies know each other personally. We maintain a regular exchange and meet at least once a year. Trustfully, we exchange our experiences in crisis management and share best-practice.

Thereby we will meet our clients’ needs even in the future, as they are already acting globally themselves and need to be prepared for crises. To advise a crisis abroad, precise knowledge about the respective country and mentality of its people as well as a flawless use of the language is essential.

For our clients we are not only active when it comes to a crisis but in advance. We want to guarantee the best possible preparation in case of an emergency. Therefore, we create cross-border workshops, seminars and simulation for crisis prevention and deduce tailor-made measures.

  • 1. Integrity

We are engaged to protect our clients’ reputation, but we always stick to the truth and are persuaded that the best way to serve our clients’ interests is to accept journalists, influencers and the entire public as conversation partners at eye level. Obligated to the truth also means to us: We don’t make promises to our clients we are not sure to keep.

  • 2. Knowledge

Crisis Communication requires a very deep understanding of the relevant media, politicians and influencers. It is also of utmost importance to know how the public reacts in each respective country. A storm in one country can be a light breeze in another country because of a different culture.

  • 3. Preparation

We are entirely convinced that every organization should be aware about its pain points and should be trained to act efficiently and faultlessly when the storm is raging. The question is not “if” something happens, but for “when” it does. Therefore, we have developed helpful formats for systematic crisis prevention.

  • 4. Reachability

In case of a crisis, there is little time. Decisions often have to be made and communicated swiftly. Internet and social media make it significantly more difficult to actively steer communication rather than to merely react. What is needed is fast, open and credible information. Therefore our members provide full reachability – and are always there for you in case of a crisis.
